I have worked hard over the last 18 months travelling to London to take part in their reputable teacher training programme and can now proudly say I am a BASI Pilates qualified instructor.
BASI Pilates® is a leading Pilates education academy with a reputation for innovation, dedication, and academic excellence. BASI stands for Body Arts and Science International, which is both the name of the academy’s holding company and an affirmation of its approach to Pilates studies. The mission of BASI Pilates is to create and maintain professional standards for the teaching of the Pilates Method and to preserve and perpetuate the gift of Pilates by educating teachers of the highest calibre. I enrolled onto the Mat Programme and completed a detailed 6 Module training package which enabled me to successfully complete theory and physical based exams. I visited BASI Pilates in London on a monthly basis to have lessons which would help towards my course revision. I enjoyed the complexity and challenge of the classes and learnt so much from their teaching styles and techniques.
